I 've never sent them as birthday cards, unless the person had their birthday while I was on vacation and got hold of a nice post card. But I dont see why not!
I had some really nice postcards never arriving (one of them I had sent from Pakistan). Eventually I started wondering if there are a few postmen on this planet that have the hobby of keeping the nice postcards they come across :P
Such a cool story! I´m planning on traveling somewhere this summer and I´ll definitely think of sending some postcards. Just out of curiosity, what led you to a remote village in Pakistan? I love hearing about travel stories to lesser-known places.
Glad you liked it! We went to Pakistan in the first place to attend a friend's wedding. A few days later, we decided to travel north in the mountains, because it was an opportunity of a lifetime to do so. And we didn't regret it!
I never was a fan of postcards myself, but I'm fond of buying them as souvenirs for others. This brings back memories!
Which one is the one you enjoyed giving away the most?
Usually the famous landmarks of the places I'm at. If the landmark is not as well known, I'll settle for scenery postcards, can't go wrong with those.
I also collect and send postcards! A lot of times I use them for birthday cards too 😊

When I used to send postcards (unfortunately I stopped a while back) I always thought of the postman reading what I wrote on them, haha!
I am sure they do, but that is also fine.

True! They probably have a flip album where they keep all their stash haha!

And glad that I convinced you to send some postcards!
